While not available in print yet, you can get the jump on the weekend by following the link below to our online version of this year’s guide. It contains maps and information about all 18 participating museums as well as trail tips and the schedule for the bus tours.
The .ashx file type is unreadable on a mac. I would suggest a more universal format like PDF.
ReplyDeleteWe think we fixed the problem. All the files we load are originally PDF -- in fact without Adobe Acrobat, you wouldn't be able to open the files. Even though it still has an ashx extension, you should be able to open it now. If you still have trouble, go to the main museum website page (http://www.placer.ca.gov/museums) and scroll down to there it says the "Heritage Trail Guidebook is now online. Click Here." Right click on the "Click Here" and you will be given the option of saving it as a PDF on your computer without ever opening the file.
